ACP is excellent for outdoor use but a great option for indoors too. ACP is a composite made of aluminum and plastic; two aluminum sheets are permanently bonded to both sides of a high-density plastic core. The solid plastic core adds thickness and rigidity to the sheet while remaining lightweight and incredibly durable. ACP custom signs have nearly ten times the strength of a sheet of .040” aluminum making it one of the most robust sign panels. Yet, the material weighs only 32 pounds for an entire 4’ x 8’ sheet.

 

ACP signs are an exceptional choice for indoor signage. They are relatively lightweight and can be printed double-sided. Hence, ACP is useful for hanging applications and easy to mount on an interior wall. When protected from exposure to harsh elements, as in an indoor application, ACP signs can last decades. Recently, LED-UV printers have been coming to market, further advancing the technology and virtually eliminating UV printing’s inherent downsides. We have chosen to partner with Vanguard Digital for our LED-UV printing equipment. The Vanguard printers offer Extremely High detail printing capabilities (3.5pl Ink Drop at 1200x1200dpi), with perfect color fidelity and rapid output. Since installation in 2020, we have printed 10s of thousands of signs using Vanguard printing technology. The sign materials we produce include Coroplast, ACP, Acrylic, Braille, Reflective, and many other industry standards.
